Fringe Salon
I get my locks chopped at Fringe Salon on the LES. Carol Ann is my stylist and I have been going to her for years now. I moved with her when she left Takamichi Hair which is also a super duper salon, but I just had to follow my girl. As my mother used to say when I was in college and short on cash, "You wear your hair EVERY day. You should spend the money and get good haircuts." That is not the most insightful thing she has ever said but is perhaps one of the most enduring truths.
Pictured are the reference photos I brought with me from July's Vogue. Carol Ann even taught me how to do finger waves thhat actually work as an everyday hair style. I'm still working on getting the method down but I'm well on my way.[Fringe]
